If last year the wedding gowns wore all about drama, classicism and royal weddings inspired this year, well we have another story on the plate. Fresh new interpretations of the past. So with no further excuses lets see the Top 15 (WOW) 2020 Bridal trends.
1. The Badass Bride
This trend is all about attitude and edge, definitely the modern bride. Cool but effortless, eternal rebellious romantic lady.
Reem Acra Bridal Fall 2020, Alexander McQueen Spring 2020
2. Buff trend
This trend is for the brides that don’t feel like wearing classic white or traditional ivory. Its the shade between blush and Champaign that works perfectly for all those ladies that don’t have white in their color palette.

Related to modesty this full coverage trend started with Meghan, ex Duchess of Sussex. Conservative ok but with a style twist. Maybe not all of you know Megan wore a Clare Waight Keller, the artistic director of the fashion house Givenchy.

7. Show off the legs
Well, not my favorite trend, but definitely on trend and perfect for a daring bride.

8. Minimalism
Again Megan Markle was a trendsetter with her completely unadorned Givenchy gown. No lace, no beading, no volume, or fanfare. This look is for the no fuss bride.

11. Statement suits

Roland Mouret Bridal Spring 2020;Ralph & Russo Haute Couture Spring 2020;
12. Regal corset
Ok, underwear as outwear comes to an end or to a new level, lets say becoming more royal and less sexy.

13. Feathers like stylish birds

Elie Saab Resort 2020,Zuhair Murad Bridal Spring 2020, Monique Lhuillier Spring 2020
15. See and not see
Naked but not naked, sinus lines, completely covered but transparent, living something more for the imagination. Well interesting indeed.
Vera Wang Bride Spring 2020; Zuhair Murad Bridal Spring 2020
To conclude, few considerations. Most of the future brides are afraid to go wrong, well the only way you can go wrong is by choosing a gown that doesn’t suit your body type and location. You feel like being a princess or minimal…well go for it and just be confident in your skin. One more thing, its very personal, not everybody will meet your style, so ignore the critics and enjoy your day!
